I don't know who 5am is but the thread I used to use on MarioKartWii.com didnt have near this many so it's not the one I know of at least, not sure if it's the same one you are talking about

5am was a really old user (before I came onto the scene I believe) and the thread had about the same number of textures on it as the OP mentioned.
