Turtle 7eam was founded on October 14th, 2018 out of the remains of Crossfire Melee, which had collapsed midway through Season 14 of Wiimmfi League. The name was chosen due to the at-the-time leaders Joeey and Sira's use of Koopa Troopa and Dry Bones in a casual setting, and also to continue using the tag of T7, which was previously applied to a general gaming group that both were part of.
The team grew rapidly during the latter half of 2018, building an atmosphere of enjoying the game and not being overly serious about winning or losing. With this atmosphere in place, and a group of new recruits ready to take on the competitive community, Turtle 7eam's debuted in Wiimmfi League Season 15, in Division 5, the lowest division in the league. This was to be the beginning of a long and ongoing league history, with Turtle 7eam taking part in every MKB-affiliated league season, with the only gap in that history being MKPS' Summer Split and the preceeding tournaments in 2020.
In late 2019, Turtle 7eam temporarily rebranded to ιnτεrgαlαcτιc, with an aim to being focusing more seriously on the competitive aspect of the game, and moving up the ladder to become a stronger team, however, this attitude was quickly abandoned in favour of reverting to the original attitude of enjoyment and fun. Despite this, differences between members in the team grew, the team disbanded on April 28th, 2020.
On June 15th, 2020, Joeey and Sira's CT Clan, Into the Unknown, and a friend clan operating out of Joeey's personal Discord server, named Team "τf", were merged, leading to the recreation and ultimately the revival of Turtle 7eam.
Throughout this time, the team remained a staple within the lower echelons of the competitive community, with the team being well known for a positive attitude and for bringing new players into the competitive scene, and ultimately playing the game for the fun aspect, rather than the competitive aspect.
