After the overwhelming success that Spindrift 2 was, the next iteration of Spindrift is already on the horizon. With the european mkw community flourishing like never before, this will already be the fourth Mario Kart Wii LAN event of 2018!

Structure of the Tournament
The tournament will be an FFA event with 9 - 12 player rooms based on the amount of participants. It will begin with a group stage consisting of 3 rounds. At the end of which each player’s points over all 3 rounds will be added. The top 12 players will then advance to the finals and compete for the prizes.

Prizes
All of the tournament fees will be added to the prize pool and distributed among the lucky people who end up getting 1st to 3th. Each participant will contribute €8,- to the prize pool. Prizes will be split in the following way:
1st: 50% + trophy
2nd: 30% + trophy
3rd: 20% + trophy
About the Location
The tournament will be held in awesomespace in utrecht. It’s a mere 6 minute bus ride away from Utrecht central station. Awesomespace is a place run by the retro gaming club Awesome retro. The place is a bit like a retro gaming museum and has all kinds of old arcades and consoles that are all playable. Awesomespace has a bar that serves drinks and snacks including several kinds of pizza for just €4,50
