In order to ensure that clans are ran effectively, we have added guidelines to clan creation.

The following are the guidelines that must be followed when creating a thread:
- You may only create 1 clan identity every 4 months. This includes clan revamps (new name, identity or thread).
- Clans must have at least 5 members (not allies or social members).
Failure to meet there guidelines will result in your thread being declined.

In addition to those above requirements, we have criteria and suggestions to ensure that your clan is accepted, these are:
- You should have the clan's tag on the thread if not already visible in the thread's title.
- Clan names should be kept formal.
- Thread titles should be 50 characters or less.

Once you create your clan thread, it will be sent to the moderation queue for a member of staff to review. If you haven't had your thread accepted, you'll receive a message from a member of staff asking you to fix the issues, and once those issues are fixed you're entitled to have the thread reviewed again. Once it's accepted, you're ready to go!

A thread that has not been posted on for approximately 6 months will be moved to the Retirement Home. The site considers these threads to be defunct, however leaders may request their threads to be moved back to the appropriate section.
